Before you take a role at our legendary bar, you should know that you’re joining a great team AND experiencing a piece of Arizona history at the same time – oh, and earning tips daily! That’s right TIPS DAILY! We take safety and security at Rusty Spur Saloon seriously, and are looking to grow our team with likeminded safety first people.

A little about us:

We’re an official registered historical landmark, ya’ll! Prior to opening in 1951, our building housed the first bank in Scottsdale, we were the office of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce and then a real-estate office. In 1951, it was renovated to become what is known today as Rusty Spur Saloon. The bank vault remains in place and has been converted to a refrigerated unit to store "the valuables"- beer and liquor!.

Here is what we will expect from you:

– To be fully knowledgeable and enforce all Arizona liquor laws

– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the facility

– Respond professionally and promptly to disturbances

– Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access

– Provide excellent customer service by assisting our guests and addressing their inquiries or concerns

– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in emergency situations or as required

– Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in security, or law enforcement is preferred

– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally

– CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

– Excellent communication skills in English

– High level of integrity, honesty, and reliability

Please note that annual participation in the Public Safety Course offered through the city of Scottsdale is required.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
