Platinum Security, Inc. is actively hiring Part-Time Unarmed Security Officers to serve at government location in the San Diego. These are professional, daytime-only positions with a consistent weekday schedule — no nights, no weekends, no surprises.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols and maintain a visible, professional presence
• Provide courteous customer service to the public, staff, and visitors
• Observe, document, and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports
• Enforce site rules and facility policies professionally
• Manage crowd flow and queue areas during peak hours
• Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and site management

Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card (Required)
• Valid CPR Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of security experience (Required)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must pass a background screening
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills
• Must be able to commute to San Diego, CA 92117

Preferred Qualifications

• Military or law enforcement background
• 2+ years of security experience
• Prior experience at government or public-facing facilities
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Strong conflict de-escalation skills
