Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Patrolman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security at various client sites through regular patrols, surveillance, and incident management. Your presence will help deter threats, ensure compliance with security protocols, and provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors alike.

Duties

• Conduct routine patrols of assigned premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Operate surveillance equipment and access control systems to oversee site security
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations following established procedures, including fire, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as required for access approval
• Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and controlling access for authorized personnel
• Assist in conflict de-escalation efforts while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor

Skills

• Strong surveillance skills with experience using CCTV systems and monitoring techniques
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and emergency response protocols
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary
• First aid certification including CPR, AED operation, and basic life support skills
• Proficiency in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with security tools such as Tasers, firearms handling (if certified), and fire safety equipment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively while ensuring compliance with security regulations

Pay: $18.00 per hour
