Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas to deter and detect security breaches.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Conduct regular security checks and inspections of premises and personnel.
• Maintain and operate assigned security equipment, including duty belt, ballistic vest, and weapons.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Report incidents and safety hazards accurately and promptly to our dispatch center.

Requirements:

• Valid AZ DPS Armed Guard certification.
• Level 2 or higher holster required.
• Must be CPR/AED Certified.
• Ballistic vest (LVL 2 minimum) required (concealable optional).
• Must have two of three less-than-lethal weapons: baton, mace, or taser (Taser is a must – we offer a purchase program).
• Proven ability to handle and operate security tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong communication, observational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A valid driver’s license/ID and Social Security number.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
