As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to concerns, document activities, and deliver customer-focused communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and key areas, verify authorization when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and/or unusual observations, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
