Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatcher with Active Clearance in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and document activity using site procedures. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to calls for assistance, support access and visitor processes, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor processing and badging, and documenting authorized access in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity or conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete daily reports and required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and access control records, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
