As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Perform armed access control and screening duties at entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor processing, and directing people to appropriate areas per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, alarms, and suspicious activity; notify and coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, including offices, lobbies, parking areas, and restricted spaces; document observations and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Complete required written reports and incident documentation, preserve observations for investigations, and communicate professionally with client personnel and Allied Universal leadership during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
