Standing ACT 235 Guard-AutoZone Philadelphia

Overview
We are seeking Armed Security Officers for STANDING positions. These locations are located mostly in the North Philadelphia area. The standing armed security officer will act as a presence inside the facility during business hours and be prepared to provide immediate assistance and/or de-escalation. The security agent will also notify local law enforcement should a response be necessary.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Maintain proficiency in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.

Pass a background check (no serious criminal convictions).

• Have a valid photo ID (driver’s license or state ID).
• Have reliable Transportation.
• Have an active ACT 235 and carry permit in the state of PA.
• Have your own holster and weapon (handgun)
• A ballistic vest is preferred.
• Have at least 1 year experience in working in the armed security industry
• Be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Firearms proficiency and safe handling at all times
• Must maintain professional uniform appearance

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
