Job Summary:

Job1USA is looking for a reliable and professional Security Guard / Security Officer to help protect our clients’ property, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to security concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Control access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and security incidents promptly.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Assist employees, guests, and customers as needed.
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Security Guard certification/license (as required by state or local regulations).
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay alert, calm, and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Basic knowledge of security equipment and surveillance systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
