Armed Security Officer- FT

Job Overview

Candidates must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing, handle several tasks simultaneously and remain composed in emergency situations. Assist persons becoming ill, assist with crowd control when needed and report any unusual activity. Complete incident reports to document all incidents. This position also requires excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills; a criminal-free record and prior security, military or police experience preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Requirements

• Act 235 is required.
• Prior security experience is required.
• Proven experience in, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is a plus.
• Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and surveillance training are highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert over extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Degree or working towards a degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent security, military or police experience, preferably in a college/university environment a plus.
