Security Officer – Full-Time-Evening

Pay: $18/hr.

Location: Elkton, MD

Schedule: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm

The Dunbar team is looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Security Officer. In this role, you will help ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and the property.

As a Security Officer, you will:

• Greet and identify all personnel, contractors, and visitors, truck drivers entering the facility
• Verify identification badges, workorders, or visitor passes
• Deny access to unauthorized individuals and notify management
• Deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing by enforcing rules and policies
• Digitally create incident and activity reports with detailed observations
• Perform regular exterior patrols, securing access points
• Support property management with additional safety duties as assigned

Scheduling:

• This is a full-time position averaging 35-40 hours per week, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts when available
• Shifts may include evening, weekends, and holidays depending on site needs
