Job Description

As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Driver in TREVOSE , PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication with tenants, visitors, and property staff. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying the appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with working conditions varying by site and weather.
• Monitor access points and observe for irregular conditions such as unauthorized persons, damaged doors, and/or maintenance concerns, and report findings per site requirements.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, including activity logs, patrol observations, and/or follow-up notes, using required tools and communication methods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
