As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with calm, clear communication. You will support access control, document observations, and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and support authorized entry by checking identification, verifying deliveries and/or work orders, and directing visitors to the proper check-in process.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, and/or medical events, and notify site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, communicate notable activity to leadership and/or the next shift, and assist with security-related investigations when requested.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
