Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized personnel and vehicles, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Observe package-handling and transportation areas for security-related concerns, report hazards or suspicious activity, and support orderly operations during high-volume shipping periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
