As a Security Officer Access Control Concierge in Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support front desk operations with professionalism and care. In this stationary role, you will help monitor activity, address security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor check-in activities, and/or emergency response support when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue access credentials when required, and report unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
  • Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and support access control processes for employees, patients, visitors, and vendors while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and front desk records accurately and promptly, and follow healthcare location protocols related to privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
