Job Description

As a Security Guard – Healthcare Patrol Driver – Weekends in Wynnewood, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and support access control while working as part of a team. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unusual conditions, and/or policy concerns.
• Control access at designated points by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, directing visitors, and assisting with wayfinding while following facility protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or incoming shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
