Armed Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV and surveillance equipment to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular security checks and inspections of premises, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR if certified.
• Enforce security policies and procedures, including access control and loss prevention measures.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate potential threats.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities or security breaches.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations related to security incidents.
• Provide assistance to visitors or employees as needed, ensuring a safe environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable; valid CPR certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for monitoring activities and identifying potential threats.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies.
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred. This role is vital for maintaining a secure environment through proactive monitoring, quick response capabilities, and professional conduct at all times.

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
