Unarmed Security Officer – Corporate & Warehouse Sites

Pay Rate: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour Location: Central New Jersey, NJ Schedule: All days available (including weekends as needed) Employment Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available

Job Description

Seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at corporate offices and warehouse/distribution facilities throughout Central New Jersey. Officers must maintain a strong security presence while upholding safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of corporate and warehouse properties
• Monitor access points, gates, and entry/exit areas
• Control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries
• Observe, report, and document incidents accurately and professionally
• Enforce site-specific rules, regulations, and post orders
• Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and safety incidents
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times
• Provide clear communication with site management and supervisory staff

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey SORA Security Guard Card (required)
• Prior security experience required (corporate or warehouse security preferred)
• Strong professionalism, reliability, and work ethic
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Patrol experience (foot and/or vehicle)
• Ability to remain alert and observant for extended periods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong report-writing skills
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Ability to work all days, including weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate, office, or warehouse security experience
• Experience with access control systems, CCTV, or badge systems
• Experience working in distribution centers or industrial environments
• Customer-facing or concierge-style security background
