FLEX SECURITY GUARD – WEEKENDS & OVERNIGHTS AVAILIBILTY

Security USA is seeking dependable, professional Flex Security Guards for assignments throughout New York.

This position is designed for officers who have flexible availability and are comfortable working different locations and shifts as operational needs arise.

Weekend and overnight availability are required.

PAY

$18.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide professional security services at assigned locations
• Perform access control and visitor processing
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas
• Conduct patrols as required by the assignment
• Maintain accurate security and visitor logs
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete incident and daily activity reports
• Follow all site Post Orders and Security USA procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid New York State Security Guard Registration Card
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be available for overnight shifts
• Ability to work at different Security USA locations as needed
• Dependable and punctual
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Ability to follow written Post Orders and site procedures
• Ability to use basic electronic reporting systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid NY security guard card, 8hr & 16hr certificate.
• Current NYC Fire Department (FDNY) Certificates of Fitness
• Candidates holding multiple relevant Fire Guard/Fire Safety Certificates of Fitness are strongly preferred
• Experience with residential, commercial, hospitality, shelter, construction, or fire-watch assignments
• Open availability and the ability to accept different assignments

FLEX OFFICER EXPECTATIONS

Flex Officers are an important part of Security USA’s operations. Assignments may include coverage for vacations, scheduled days off, open posts, special assignments, call-outs, and other operational needs.

This position is best suited for someone who wants additional hours and has the flexibility to work different schedules and locations.

Officers who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong performance may be considered for additional hours and permanent assignments as they become available.
