Unarmed Security Officer- Corporate Facility

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

Must Haves:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 
  Active state security license/guard card (NYS)
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening
• 
  Strong customer service skills — this is a heavily customer-facing role; you will be the first point of contact and are expected to represent the facility professionally at all times
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and respond to after-hours incidents as needed

Preferred (but not required):

• Prior experience in a corporate or high-traffic customer-facing environment
• Experience handling high-volume visitor or client interactions

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Pay Rate: $20.55/h (weekly pay)
