Security Officer : Highbridge-Woodycrest Center

Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is currently hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers for Highbridge Medical in the Bronx, NY.

We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented individuals to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, and property. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, professional in appearance, and comfortable working in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the facility.
• Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and assigned security posts.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
• Perform access control and monitor individuals entering the facility.
• Assist patients, visitors, employees, and medical staff as needed.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and calls for assistance.
• De-escalate conflicts and disturbances using professional communication.
• Complete clear and accurate incident reports.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
• Assist facility management and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Follow all PSC post orders, policies, and Highbridge Medical facility procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid New York State Security Guard Registration Card required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Healthcare or medical facility security experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed during challenging situations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance.

Medical Clearance Requirements

Due to the healthcare environment, candidates must be able to provide required medical clearance documentation, including:

• MMR vaccination records with active titers
• Current PPD/TB clearance or qualifying chest X-ray

Required documentation must be provided prior to assignment in accordance with facility requirements.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Applicants with flexible availability for days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$18.50 per hour
