Per Diem School Security Guard

Job Description: Per Diem Security Guard (School Campus)

We are seeking professional and experienced Per Diem Security Guards to provide as-needed coverage at a high school campus in Neptune, NJ. This role is intended to cover shifts when permanent staff are out (vacation, sick time, etc.). This is not a full-time or part-time position.

Candidates must be dependable, respectful, and capable of working with high school students, staff, and families in a school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist with student arrival and dismissal
• Patrol hallways to ensure student safety and proper conduct
• Supervise students during lunch periods
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with students, families, and staff
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor at all times
• Support school administrators with safety-related duties

Requirements:

• Valid SORA license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience
• Prior experience in a school environment strongly preferred
• Ability to work well with teenagers

Pay Rate:

• $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Per Diem / As Needed Only
• Morning shifts may include:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
