Seasonal Security Guard — Art Gallery

We are a rapidly expanding organization in search of dedicated and vigilant Security Guard for a prestigious luxury establishment. The ideal candidate will embody a proactive attitude, emphasizing top-tier customer service while prioritizing the safety of both visitors and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provided professional security and protection for an upscale art gallery, ensuring the safety of visitors, staff, artwork, and property.
• Must be physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
• Maintained a visible security presence while delivering courteous and professional customer service to guests and gallery personnel.
• Monitored entrances, exits, exhibition areas, and visitor activity to identify and address potential security concerns.
• Enforced gallery policies and safety procedures while maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.
• Responded calmly and professionally to incidents, unusual activity, and challenging situations.
• Assisted with crowd management during busy periods, special exhibitions, and gallery events.
• Conducted routine security observations and reported incidents or concerns to management.
• Maintained a polished professional appearance and exercised discretion when interacting with high-profile guests and clients.
• Worked independently and as part of a team to maintain a secure environment throughout the gallery.

Candidate Requirements:

Must possess a valid New York State Security License

Minimum age of 21 years High school diploma or GED equivalent

CPR certification is preferred; First Aid certification is a plus.
