Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
• Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Operate CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor premises continuously and identify potential security issues
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents with appropriate procedures including emergency response protocols
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, breaches, or unusual activities
• Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as required to ensure safety compliance
• Assist in conflict de-escalation efforts while maintaining professionalism and calmness in tense situations

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred; military background is a plus
• Valid certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is highly desirable
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or incident response
• Knowledge of physical security measures including CCTV operation, access control systems, and surveillance techniques
• Strong skills in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and fire safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
• Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings when needed
• Physical fitness to patrol large areas, stand for extended periods, and respond swiftly in emergencies
• Compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards
