Knight Security – Licensed Security Supervisor

Knight Security is a premier security firm specializing in high-profile events, executive protection support, television and film production security, press tours, threat assessments, and corporate facility security throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

We are seeking experienced, professional Licensed Security Supervisors to join our elite event security team in New York City. This position is intended for seasoned security professionals who understand discretion, professionalism, and exceptional client service.

Ideal Candidate

This position is best suited for security professionals with 4+ years of verifiable security experience who are comfortable working with corporate executives, VIPs, celebrities, production companies, luxury brands, and high-profile events.

• Excellent communicators with strong customer service skills
• Calm under pressure and capable of making sound decisions
• Highly reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
• Comfortable representing Knight Security and our clients at the highest level

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional security experience required
• Valid New York State Security Guard License (Required)
• F-04 Fire Guard Certificate (Required)
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Military, law enforcement, executive protection, or high-end hospitality security experience is highly desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Uniform Requirements

Applicants must own and maintain a professional business suit:

• Tailored solid black or solid navy suit
• White dress shirt
• Dark tie
• Black dress shoes

Knight Security will provide the company lapel pin upon hire.

Hiring Process

Applicants must present the following during their interview:

• Original NYS Security Guard License
• Original F-04 Fire Guard Certificate

Applicants who arrive without both required credentials will not be interviewed.

Schedule

This position is ideal for professionals seeking:

• Part-time

• Event-based assignments

Shifts vary based on client needs and may range from short assignments to extended event coverage.
