Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• Minimum 2 years of security experience
• Military experience and Criminal Justice backgrounds encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Driver’s License required
• High School Diploma, GED, or College Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• F-01 Certification preferred
• Experience in access control, patrol, incident response, or transportation security environments

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Observe and report suspicious activity and security concerns
• Monitor restricted and secured areas
• Enforce security procedures, rules, and regulations
• Conduct access control for personnel and vehicles
• Perform vehicle inspections and perimeter patrols
• Screen and log visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering restricted areas
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and hazardous conditions
• Assist with crowd control and emergency response situations
• Report fires, accidents, safety concerns, and unusual incidents
• Conduct fence inspections and monitor secured areas
• Prepare written incident and activity reports
• Provide customer assistance and directional support when appropriate
• Assist emergency personnel when needed
• Maintain post coverage and operational readiness at all times
• Perform fire watch responsibilities as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to climb stairs and patrol large areas
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to respond quickly during emergency situations

• NYS Guard Card
• Social Security Card
• Birth Certificate or Passport
• Work Authorization or Permanent Resident Card (if applicable)
• High School Diploma/GED/College Degree or transcripts
• Two separate years of W-2s verifying security experience
• Printed copy of resume

Additional Information:

• Officers may be required to report 30 minutes before shift start
• Business casual attire required for interviews
• Public transportation recommended
• Street parking available
