Position: Security Dispatcher (Operations Supervisor)

Job Type: Full Time Position

Location: New York, New York

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 07:00am – 03:00pm.

Salary: $22 per hour

Required experience:

Must be able to obtain a NYS Security Guard License

Prior Law Enforcement or Military Experience

Dispatching experience: 1 year or Reception Experience

Required education: High school (Some College preferred)

Computer Skills: Basic

Flexibility: With schedule

Basic Operations Supervisor Duties include:

· Scheduling, Covering Posts, and Time and Attendance

· Answering phones

· Monitoring Video

· Responding to alarms

· Dispatching Field Supervisors

· Taking Messages

· Status Reports

· Warning reports

· Incident reports

· Documenting all events in the Dispatch Shift Report

Qualifications:

· Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of public interaction and report writing;

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with the ability to work independently;

· Prior Law Enforcement or Military service

· Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements;

· Must have a high school diploma or GED,

· Strong interpersonal skills are important as most of our positions require regular interaction with the public;

· Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard;

· Neat and professional appearance.

· Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
