Full job description:

Security patrols, armed visual deterrence, access control, traffic control, prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.· Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.· Property access control, greeting guest, and visitors, checking Id’s/vehicles.· Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls. Maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Security Officer Skills and Qualifications:

O Prior police officer experience from accredited agency

O NYS Armed Guard License

O NYS carry permit, HR218, Retired Police officer ID

O CPR, basic first aid

O Good Customer Service and Communications Skills.

O Professionalism

8-10-12 Hour shifts

Pay Rate: Starting $40.00 per hour

Weekly direct deposit

Job Type: Part Time & Full time Avail

MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

Education:

· High school or equivalent (Required)

· Completion of a Police/Sheriff Academy (Required)

· Law Enforcement Experience: 10 years (Required)

· Security Officer Experience: 3-5 years (Required)

· Language:· English (Required)
