Security Officer $22.00 an hour (Standing Post)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our Staten Island team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience combined in Military or Law Enforcement and the field and be well-versed in all aspects of security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular security patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms or disturbances promptly.
• Control access points and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
• Write comprehensive reports on security incidents and provide clear and concise documentation.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain a professional and vigilant presence to deter unauthorized activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the security field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle high-stress situations with professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and observant nature.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security.
