Luxury Hospitality Security Officer

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY
Property: Forbes Five-Star Luxury Hotel
Start Date: February 1, 2026
(Part-time available immediately; Full-time begins March)

We are seeking experienced hospitality security professionals to join the security team at a Forbes Five-Star luxury hotel in Midtown Manhattan. This position requires prior experience in ultra-luxury hotel environments and the ability to deliver high-touch guest service while maintaining exceptional security standards.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of security experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels and understand the expectations of refined hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of guests, VIPs, staff, and property
• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence in public-facing posts
• Monitor entrances, access points, and interior spaces
• Respond to incidents calmly, discreetly, and efficiently
• Provide service consistent with Forbes Five-Star hospitality standards
• Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately
• Collaborate closely with hotel leadership and operational teams

Requirements:

• Valid New York State Security Guard License (required)
• Minimum 4 years of security experience in 4–5 star hotel environments (required)
• Professional business attire presentation (suit required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgment
