Security Field Supervisor

Overview

The Security Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of an assigned security guard team to ensure the safety and security of post location and perimeter. From exhibiting professionalism and tact when responding to escalated situations to providing mentorship and guidance in support of the security team, the Security Field Supervisor works in conjunction with HR and Operations teams to foster best practices that are compliant with federal/state regulations and respectful of our company policies and protocols.

Schedule

Shift: 12AM- 8AM. 5 days a week- MUST work one weekend shift!

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise security guard team to ensure adherence to company procedures, protocol and best practices are being adhered to
• Perform regular spot-checks to posts to ensure that security guards on post assignment are performing the required tasks and functions, helping when needed
• Respond swiftly to breach alerts reported by security guard staff on duty to applicable methods
• Oversee the company scheduling platform to confirm "clock-ins/clock-outs" are being completed for each scheduled shift per company protocol
• Respond to escalated situation alerts from security guard team with professionalism and expediency according to company protocol
• Mentor and support security guard team in their efforts to meet contractual obligations and exceed client expectations
• Follow procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
• Adhere to all Company service and operating standards
• Additional tasks as needed
• On call 24/7 if any issues arise

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3+ years of security experience
• Valid NYS Driver’s license
• NYS Guard license
