Overview
Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer and become the frontline protector of our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this vital role, you will actively monitor premises, enforce safety protocols, and respond swiftly to incidents to ensure a secure environment for everyone. Your vigilance and dedication will help maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming atmosphere, empowering our organization to operate smoothly and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or irregularities
• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across all areas
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management and first aid measures
• Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and logs for future reference and compliance purposes
• Observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to resolve incidents efficiently

Requirements

• MUST HAVE a Valid Security License & F02 Card (neither can expire within the next 2 months)
• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and NARCAN are advantageous
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods throughout shifts
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public

Pay: $18.87 per hour
