As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related concerns, and support staff, patients, and visitors with calm communication and service. You will observe and report unusual activity, assist with access control, and respond to incidents per site procedures. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, waiting areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, unusual conditions, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, notifying appropriate personnel, and coordinating with public resources when directed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or controlled areas, verifying authorization, directing foot traffic, and maintaining orderly access consistent with site requirements.
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate security-related information during shift briefings and post handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
