Duties

• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying credentials and issuing passes.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises.
• Perform patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, applying conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or suspicious activity and implementing preventative measures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies.
• Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and effectively through conflict management skills.
• Familiarity with security procedures including access control, patrolling protocols, and emergency response plans.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during visual inspections and surveillance monitoring.
