Security Officer Overnight

Description

• Conducts him or herself in accordance with all Florida Gaming Commission standards and The Big Easy Casino policies and procedures.
• Patrols gaming areas and grounds to establish security presence and reports all unusual situations and suspicious persons.
• Completes required checklists and inspection of assets in facility.
• Provides customer service to ensure positive guest experiences.
• Stands post to ensure alertness in the casino.
• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• No prior security experience is required; however, at least 1+ years of security experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have an active Class D Security License.
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to stand for long durations of time.
• Able to respond calmly to emergency situations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include overnights, weekends and holidays.
