Duties

• Conduct routine patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security issues.
• Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the premises and detect suspicious behavior.
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, providing clear communication with emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
• Assist with conflict management by calmly de-escalating tense situations while upholding professionalism.

Requirements

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV technology and loss prevention techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies effectively.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
• Excellent observation skills coupled with attention to detail for effective surveillance and incident reporting.

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
