Clean driving record for the last five years and valid Florida driver license.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises on foot or vehicle to monitor for suspicious activity or safety issues
• Observe and operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee key areas and detect potential threats or irregularities
• Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies by assessing the situation and coordinating with emergency responders if necessary
• Perform security checks on entrances, exits, and restricted areas to verify authorized access and prevent unauthorized entry
• Maintain detailed logs of patrol activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures
• Provide first aid or CPR when needed and support conflict management to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management techniques, and loss prevention strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding effectively to emergencies or conflicts
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; ability to operate basic security equipment

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
