The Role & Your Impact

We are seeking two (2) Full-Time Residential Security & Receiving Specialists for a luxury high-rise residential community. One opening is assigned to an Afternoon Schedule and one opening is assigned to an Overnight Schedule.

This role is central to both operational integrity and resident confidence.

You will function as a key operational partner within the site security team, balancing receiving operations with public safety responsibilities while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, etiquette, and accountability.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that effective security is a collective effort, one that thrives on clear communication, mutual trust, and consistency within a team environment.

Core ResponsibilitiesReceiving Operations (Primary Function)

  • Manage and maintain control of the receiving area and loading dock
  • Verify vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site protocols
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and access with property management and site partners
  • Ensure proper documentation, logging, and chain-of-custody for all deliveries
  • Enforce compliance with building standards for vendors and contractors

Public Safety & Residential Security

  • Conduct professional patrols of interior and exterior areas
  • Provide access control and visitor management with discretion and courtesy
  • Respond to incidents using sound judgment, de-escalation techniques, and established procedures
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and professional written reports and daily logs
  • Serve as a visible, reassuring presence for residents, guests, and staff

Team Contribution & Continuous Improvement

  • Actively collaborate with fellow officers and site leadership
  • Share observations, insights, and recommendations to strengthen operations
  • Model professionalism, accountability, and respect in every interaction
  • Support a culture of learning, feedback, and shared responsibility

Qualifications & Professional RequirementsRequired

  • Valid Florida Class D Security License
  • Bilingual English and Spanish (Professional Fluency Required)
  • Minimum three (3) years of licensed security experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of residential, luxury, or hospitality security experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication, and etiquette
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to write clear and accurate reports
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Must pass criminal and role-relevant background screening
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • U.S. Citizen or authorized to work with valid documentation

Preferred

  • Experience working in a receiving or loading dock environment, preferably within residential or hospitality settings
  • Exposure to CCTV systems, access control systems, or building management systems
  • CPR/AED certification or prior emergency response training
  • Previous leadership or mentorship experience
  • Currently enrolled in a technical program, vocational school, or college/university
  • Interest in or preparation for a career in law enforcement or a federal agency

Compensation

  • $21.00 per hour, with all training paid at the full hourly rate
  • Minimum of 16 hours of paid onboarding and site-specific training
  • Biweekly pay via direct deposit

Available Work Schedule

We are hiring for one (1) Full-Time Afternoon Schedule and one (1) Full-Time Overnight Schedule.

Please Note: There is no morning schedule available at this time. Applicants seeking only morning employment should not apply.

Afternoon Schedule

  • Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Friday: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • OFF Tuesday and Wednesday

Overnight Schedule

  • Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • OFF Wednesday and Thursday

All schedules include a 30-minute unpaid meal period.

These schedules support receiving operations, residential security operations, and resident-facing activity, requiring strong coordination, professionalism, and consistency across varying daily workflows.

Attendance & Scheduling Expectations

To ensure operational consistency and effective team integration, time off during the initial 90-day period is limited. Candidates with pre-planned life events (such as vacations, weddings, or graduations) are encouraged to discuss them during the interview process; requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
