Position Overview:
SMI Security is seeking a professional and dependable Parking Patrol Security Officer (Golf Cart Rover) to work at a high-end property located in Bal Harbour. This position is responsible for monitoring parking areas, enforcing parking regulations, and maintaining order throughout the property’s parking facilities.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), customer-service oriented, and comfortable operating a golf cart while patrolling the property. Officers must maintain a professional presence while interacting with residents, guests, and staff in a high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol parking areas and surrounding property using a golf cart.
- Enforce parking regulations and ensure vehicles are parked in authorized areas.
- Identify and report unauthorized vehicles, parking violations, or safety concerns.
- Provide assistance and directions to residents, guests, and visitors when needed.
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the property.
- Communicate any issues or incidents to supervisors and property management.
- Document daily activities, violations, and incidents in security reports.
Ensure parking areas remain organized, safe, and accessible.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.- Previous security or parking enforcement experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate a golf cart safely and responsibly.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work in a high-end residential environment.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and patrol for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must remain alert and attentive while monitoring parking areas.
Work Environment:
This position is located at a luxury property in Bal Harbour, where maintaining professionalism and providing excellent service to residents and guests is essential. Officers must be comfortable working in an active environment while enforcing parking policies respectfully and consistently.
