Position Overview
Nation Security Services is hiring a professional Security Officer to serve client properties in the Hollywood area. This role is focused on protecting property, preventing incidents, and maintaining a safe environment for residents, guests, tenants, and staff.
We’re looking for someone who stays alert, communicates clearly, and handles situations with confidence and control.
Key Responsibilities
Patrol & Property Protection
- Perform scheduled foot and/or vehicle patrols
- Monitor access points and verify identification
- Enforce property rules and site-specific post orders
- Detect and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
Incident Handling
- Respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies
- De-escalate conflicts professionally
- Contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Document incidents thoroughly and accurately
Customer Interaction
- Maintain a visible, professional presence
- Assist residents, tenants, employees, and visitors
- Provide clear directions and support as needed
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports
- Maintain detailed log entries
- Follow company policies and Florida state regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License (required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security experience preferred
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass background screening and drug test
