ABOUT THE POSITION
Miami Management, Inc. is seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Access Control Supervisor to oversee front desk and access control operations at luxury residential properties throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
The Access Control Supervisor will be responsible for supervising front desk personnel, maintaining access control procedures, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that property policies and security procedures are consistently followed.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is professional, organized, dependable, and comfortable handling residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and employees in a fast-paced residential environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and support Front Desk, Concierge, Rover, and Access Control staff.
- Monitor daily front desk and access control operations.
- Ensure employees follow company and property policies and procedures.
- Control and monitor access for residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Train and assist employees with front desk and access control procedures.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure proper coverage and professional performance.
- Address resident and guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Monitor security cameras and report suspicious or unusual activity.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, contractor, and incident records.
- Coordinate package and delivery procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, including fire alarms, water leaks, medical situations, and other incidents.
- Communicate with property management regarding incidents, staffing, and operational concerns.
- Prepare and communicate daily activity or incident reports as required.
- Ensure the front desk remains clean, organized, and professional.
- Answer phones and handle resident and guest inquiries professionally.
- Operate access control systems, computers, phones, and other front desk equipment.
- Assist with employee scheduling and coverage when needed.
- Enforce property rules and access control procedures consistently.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Previous experience in concierge, front desk, access control, security, hospitality, or residential property management preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations.
- Ability to follow and enforce company and property procedures.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn access control systems.
- Fluent in English; Spanish bilingual preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Reliable transportation preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules and overtime when needed.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
