Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the security and safety of all individuals and property -Maintain order in the hotel, dealing with the welfare of guests, and assisting with door lock problems. Coordinate expedient response to emergency conditions such as fire, fire or safety hazards and threats to life and/or property in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
– Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any other relevant information
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
– Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, and clients
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven experience as a security officer or related role is preferred
– Strong observation skills and attention to detail
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and interacting with others
– Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
– Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols
– Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
– Valid driver’s license may be required for certain positions
