Unarmed Security Officer – Luxury Residential | Miami Beach & Brickell

Job Summary

Kingsley Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to staff ultra-luxury residential properties in Miami Beach and Downtown Miami/Brickell. We are seeking professional, bilingual (English/Spanish) security guards who excel in customer service, access control, and residential security operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-end condominium environment where hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail are just as important as safety and security.

Pay Rates

• $18.50 – $20.00/hour, based on site and assignment
• Front Desk positions up to $19/hour
• Rover positions up to $20/hour

Available Schedules:

1. Miami Beach (33139)

• Monday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Rover)
• Friday & Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Gatehouse)

2. Additional Miami Beach Schedule:

• Monday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

3. Downtown Miami / Brickell

• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Front Desk)
• Sunday & Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Rover)
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM & Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Security Attendant)

Overview

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff at a prestigious luxury residential property. This role combines security awareness with high-level customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control: Verify resident, guest, and vendor credentials; control entry points
• Foot Patrols: Conduct routine patrols to identify safety risks or unusual activity
• Customer Service & Hospitality: Greet residents and guests professionally while maintaining discretion
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to security, safety, or resident concerns
• Reporting: Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
• Emergency Response: Follow emergency procedures for fire, medical, or security incidents

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of security experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (required)
• Luxury residential or condominium security experience preferred

Skills:

• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations

Requirements

• Valid Florida Class D Security License (Required)
• Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish (Required)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to commute to Miami Beach, FL 33139
• Willingness to relocate to Miami Beach prior to start date, if necessary
