**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate has high levels of integrity, can handle high-stress situation, and is on call for emergency scenarios. This person must be able to supervise, train, coach, and keep the team organized while also working with the team on shift.

**Duties:**

– Supervise and monitor activities on property to deter and prevent theft, sabotage, fire, and accidents, and respond to calls for assistance.

– Enforce security procedures and maintain the standard of service.

– Served as a training officer to new security staff.

– Follow the new hire training program and checklist.

– Assess, evaluate, and record counseling, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations accordingly.

– Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance

– Observe/monitor property to detect theft, unauthorized access or suspicious activity while following property policies and procedures.

– Monitor checkpoint reports and address any missed checkpoints.

– Patrol premises and scan checkpoints during rover duty on golf cart while following all safety procedures.

– Conducting ID checks to all staff members, contractors, and visitors before allowing them access to the community or conducting business with them.

– Monitor security system for any suspicious activity and report.

– Communicate and facilitate open lines of communication with the District Manager, Operation Manager, Human Resources, Property Manager, Client Representatives, and Corporate Office Departments; promote good client relations internally, externally, and in daily interactions with outside vendors, contractors, service providers, and representatives.

· Other duties as assigned

**Skills:**

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

– 2 years of experience in security required and experience law enforcement or military preferred

– 1 year or more in a supervisory role required

– Familiarity with loss prevention strategies

– Proficient in conflict management and resolution

· Class D Security License

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Excellent customer service skills

· Advanced verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledgeable in security protocols

**Physical Requirement:**

Ability to stand, walk and operate motor vehicle for short/long/sporadic periods of time with no physical restrictions

Ability to comfortably use stairs through shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
