DeltCorp Security Group is now hiring full-time and part-time Unarmed Officers in the Miami Lakes, FL Area. All applicants must go through a criminal background investigation and drug screening prior to job placement.

We are looking for an Unarmed Security Officers to undertake the surveillance of our clients premises and protection of their staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences through the DeltCorp Management System

Requirements

• Proven experience as security officer (Preferred)
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• High School diploma (Preferred)
• Reliable Transportation
• Be available to work overnights
• Have a valid state issued Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card
• Be able to work up to 12 hours per shift if required
• Must display a professional appearance and attitude
• Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience
• Must possess excellent communications skills and phone etiquette
• Must be familiar with using a computer and a smart phone
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug test
• Must have a D Security Officer License
• Must available to work weekends and holidays.

The available shifts are for Fridays Saturdays & Sundays
