Armed Security Guard

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly trained and experienced Armed Guard to join our security team. As an Armed Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or a related field, with a valid security certificate and the ability to operate a firearm safely.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible presence on site to deter potential security breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor CCTV cameras to detect and respond to any security incidents.
• Engage with the public to maintain a positive and professional image of the company.
• Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, including reporting to management.
• Participate in training and drills to ensure readiness in the event of an emergency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
• Provide first aid and CPR in the event of an emergency.

Skills:

• Law enforcement or military background
• D & G License Required
• Valid security certificate.
• Proficiency in the use of firearms.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques.
• Ability to operate CCTV surveillance systems.
• Excellent conflict management and communication skills.
• Certification in first aid and CPR.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
