Unarmed Security Guard

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the overall security of the premises.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and equipment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems.
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or incidents in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports.
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site rules and regulations.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents as directed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Valid state security license or guard card (if required by state law).
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work outdoors as needed.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
