As a Security Officer at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $33.70 per hour.

A day in the life of our Security Officer… it demands high levels of energy and responsibility in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and passion to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Security Officer accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

• Our Security Officer are responsible for securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry during their day. This will include conducting fire and safety patrols on all shifts.

• Clearly and pleasurably communicate with guests, visitors, management and team to their understanding, both in person and on the telephone, all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Security officers are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk, or sit for long periods of time up to 8 hours, frequent use of computer keyboard and computer mouse, to reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. Our Security Officer must be able to physically walk the property checking in with all departments. Our Security Officer must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Our Security Officer must be able to quickly run to all emergency situations including Fire and Medical calls. Our Security Officer must be able to perform CPR kneeling and conducting chest compressions for a long period of time as necessary. Security Officer must be able to physically defend themselves in a physical altercation with a Suspect in regards to the rules of engagement. The physical ability to work indoors and outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions.

• A minimum of 3 years of Security Officer or relevant work experience is required for this role.

• Must possess and maintain a CPR/First-Aid certification.

• Hotel, Bar and/or Restaurant experience is preferred.

• A Valid State Guard Card is a plus.
