Weekend Security Concierge Position

As a key frontline representative, you will utilize your skills in surveillance, access control, and emergency response to uphold the highest standards of physical security and customer service. This role is a weekend swing shift position.

Duties

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for visitors and staff.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety, identify hazards, and maintain a visible security presence.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents, or security threats.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any unusual activity, incidents, or safety concerns encountered during shifts.
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as required to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Operate emergency equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), fire extinguishers, Tasers, and firearms where legally permitted and trained.

Skills

• Proven experience with surveillance technology including CCTV systems and monitoring software.
• Background in military or law enforcement roles demonstrating strong security discipline.
• Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and emergency response procedures.
• Skilled in conflict de-escalation, conflict management, and customer service to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Knowledge of physical security measures including manual handling, heavy lifting, and performing patrols on foot or vehicle.
• Familiarity with security regulations compliance and performing background checks for visitors or staff.
• Ability to operate access control systems securely while maintaining excellent communication skills with team members and visitors.
