Nightlife and Restaurant Security Staff

Our nightlife and Restaurant Security Staff are the first and last faces our patrons see. They are employed for the safety and security of all our guests and staff, and they work tirelessly to make sure the customers’ nights are fun and exciting. Our Staff spend much of their time monitoring and “reading” the crowd for possible problems as well as intervening in certain situations and extracting difficult customers.

Responsibilities:

Greeting patrons and checking IDs

Providing security and safety

Protecting bar patrons and staff

Monitoring bar or club perimeter for safety concerns

Assessing customer aggression or intoxication

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to assess threats and over-intoxication.

Comfortable talking to people.

Ability to manage multiple people and situations while maintaining composure.

California State Guard Card

Availability to work nights and weekends.

Proficiency in using smartphone applications for communication and reporting purposes.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience working in clubs or bars.

Police or military background

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting Rate for Security Officers is $18-$25 DOE
